After much speculation (probably too much if you really think about it), today online shopping behemoth, Amazon, announced Fire phone—its first venture into the smartphone business—with a presentation by CEO and founder Jeff Bezos.
Pluses: 3D image capabilities, Gorilla Glass on both sides, 13 megapixel camera, base model features 32GB of storage, immediate membership to Amazon Prime, “pre-buffering” Amazon prime video content for Fire phone owners
Minuses: You already own a smartphone and it works just fine.
