Los Angeles, California

Beyond designing and launching a website, writing fun news posts and in-depth features, and generally staying above the current on all our favorite cultural happenings, we wanted to make sure that FLOOD magazine had the proper launch party that it deserves. To ensure that, we presented our brand-new magazine to the world with a bang, we brought together our nearest and dearest for one unforgettable night.

With larger-than-life artwork by Cold War Kids‘ bassist Matt Maust featured on the walls of the FLOOD Gallery, partygoers grooved to an awesome vinyl DJ set by Matt O’Brien while chowing down on delicious quesadillas and sipping on drinks provided by Angel City Brewery, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Red Bull, and AquaHydrate.

After browsing the art (and probably taking too many photobooth pics), it was time for the crowd to take in a brilliant, stripped-down set from Cold War Kids, with a setlist spanning their entire discography.

Special thanks again to Cold War Kids, Angel City Brewery, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Red Bull, AquaHydrate, Foxtales, and everyone who came out to help launch the magazine.
