LIVE, IN PHOTOS: Air + Style 2018

Air + Style brought snow to Los Angeles this weekend with a festival combining street-style snowboarding, skating, and musical acts at Exposition Park. While it was certainly cold out (by Angeleno standards), it was wild to see snow in Downtown LA. Fresh off the plane from PyeongChang, Olympian Kyle Mack competed, and spotted in the crowd were Red Gerard, Chloe Kim, and the crimson locks of event organizer Shaun White.

Against the drop of high-flying tricks on snow and concrete were the more typical festival scenes of food trucks, beer gardens, and, of course, music. With alternating stages and events, the festival was as laid back as the lifestyle it represents. And if you were inspired to give these sports a try there was a mini hill and halfpipe to jump on (after signing some waivers).
