This week, the Independent revealed some interesting news that will have you jealous of (or feeling sad for) our neighbors across the Pond.
Owners of the Xbox One game console within the UK will now have the ability to order Domino’s pizza through their television without having to pause their game play. That sure sounds like an excellent (or horrifying) solution to a serious problem.
So how does this magical pizza wizard work? You just yell at your television screen. No joke.
Just shout “Domino’s, feed me!”—which sounds like something everyone out past 1 a.m. says at one point or another—and the Xbox/Kinect app will launch, giving you all the pizza options that Domino’s has to offer. Now, what if words are too much for you while you’re in the middle of a sick game? “The Kinect can also track users’ movement, so that they can order the pizza using by waving their arms. (And they’ll still be able to use the controller.)”
Well, that settles that! Welcome to the bright future (or beginning of the end) of human civilization.
