On January 20, The Decemberists have a new album coming out via Capitol Records called What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World, and totally coincidentally of that, they’ve just shared a newly uncovered bootleg performance from a German TV show in 1977.

OK, not really. But the VHS-tinged video for “Make You Better” does prominently feature the mighty moustache of Nick Offerman, host of what seems to be a quality program known as The Old Blue Rock Palace Show.

So that’s how the Parks and Recreation star keeps busy when he’s not making handcrafted emojis at his woodshop… The Decemberists are also on tour in spring of the new year. Those North American dates are below,
