Last Friday night was a bittersweet moment for Brooklynites, as NYC’s very own Interpol officially released their latest LP Marauder at House of Vans Brooklyn’s final show. A venue inexplicably survived by MoviePass and R. Kelly’s Memory Lane tour, HoV BK provided its neighborhood with free shows from the likes of Dinosaur Jr., Television, Titus Andronicus, Joey Bada$$, and Julian Casablancas—not to mention Slowdive, Deerhunter, Liz Phair, and Blondie this summer alone—over the past eight years.

In spite of the glum circumstances, Interpol—along with hand-picked openers Gang Gang Dance and Honduras—put on a memorable show, playing fan favorites as well as debuting a few yet-unheard cuts from the new record. Check out some pics of the set below, along with shots of the venue/skate park decked out with a Maurader-themed installation.
