Emperor Tomato Ketchup!

That’s right: Stereolab is back. The legendary French-English outfit that matched progressive politics, classic krautrock, and swinging lounge aesthetics have revealed the band’s first live North American show in more than a decade.

Tim Gane and Laetitia Sadier will lead the reunited outfit at this year’s edition of the Desert Daze music festival in Lake Perris, CA, over the weekend of October 10. Early bird tickets to the event are available here.

There has been reunion buzz around the band for a while now, with Stereolab revealing late last year an extensive reissue campaign of classic albums from 1993’s Transient Random-Noise Bursts with Announcements through 2004’s Margerine Eclipse.
