Fred Armisen, Steve Albini, and Kelley Deal Are Headed to a Cat Convention

Don’t miss superstar Lil BUB at New Jersey’s Catsbury Park Cat Convention this April.

You all know Lil BUB, an American celeb cat renowned for her tongue (which she can’t keep in her mouth), stubby legs, and constant look of surprise. BUB was the runt of her litter, but soon rose to prominence on Reddit and Facebook, even going on to star in her very own documentary.

So it was only a matter of time until Lil BUB got a web series, Lil BUB’s Big SHOW, back in 2013; featuring a talk show format, a subtitled BUB was edited together with footage of her “guests,” among them Whoopi Goldberg, Steve Albini, Kelley Deal, and Murder by Death—clearly, BUB is into music. Once she even interviewed the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama (watch below).

Now, for the first time since 2015, you can catch Lil BUB’s Big SHOW again, headlining the Catsbury Park Cat Convention (CPCC) in Asbury Park, NJ, on April 13 and 14.

In what the CPCC is calling “her biggest show yet,” the illustrious BUB will appear on stage with comedian-musician Fred Armisen of Portlandia and talented bassist Blasko, who’s currently part of Ozzy Osbourne’s band. Old friends Steve Albini and The Breeders’ Kelley Deal will also be back to greet their furry comrade once more.
