For seventy-two years, the Hollywood Foreign Press has hosted the award show that celebrities actually like going to, the Golden Globes. This year, beyond the free meal and copious amounts of booze that will be present at each table, A-listers and viewers around the world will watch Tina Fey and Amy Poehler at the helm again (hosting three-peat!), as film and television hopefuls try to take the gold.

In the world of cinema Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman (seven nominations) and Richard Linklater’s Boyhood (five nominations) repeated their good fortune as seen by the 2015 Spirit Awards nominations, while FX’s Fargo (five nominations) and HBO’s True Detective (four nominations) are at the front of the television pack. Other notable contenders include Wes Anderson’s whimsical The Grand Budapest Hotel, the eerie Foxcatcher, the charming St. Vincent, and almost everything that Netflix (House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Derek) and HBO (Girls, Game of Thrones, Veep, Silicon Valley) put out this year.

The Golden Globes will air on January 11 on NBC. Full nominees list below.
