Classic alternative is much like classic rock: there’s always a reason to remember the glory days.

In the case of Joy Division‘s 1979 full-length debut, Unknown Pleasures, the time is now for a fortieth anniversary reissue, announced today via the band’s official social media.

Not much along the lines of bells and whistles with this release. The album is being pressed on red 180 gram vinyl with the iconic album cover’s color scheme flipped to be predominantly white. The bundle will also include a white t-shirt featuring the color-flipped graphic.

The set is available for pre-order now for £34.99 (approximately $46 USD).
