Just last month, we were excited to report on Swedish singer Lykke Li’s new music festival, Yola. Today, we learn that the event is undergoing some wholesale changes before it finally becomes a reality.

The fest, originally slated for June 8 at Los Angeles Historic State Park, is now set for August 18 at the same location. It will also come with a new name: Yola Día.

The festival’s lineup has also been overhauled. Previously announced artists Charli XCX and Ambar Lucid are no longer playing. Added to the bill: SOPHIE, Kelsey Lu and Empress Of. They will join Megan Thee Stallion, CupcakKe, Lykke Li, Cat Power, and Courtney Love.

Yola Día is named after and will be presented by YOLA Mezcal, a female-run mezcal brand from Oaxaca, Mexico. Lykke Li is among the brand’s founders. Get more event information here, and see the updated event flyer below.
