You ever have one of those dreams where everyone at the club is making out with someone except for you and…your doppelgänger? Yeah, BRONCHO too. Today the garage rock revivalists are bringing this anxiety to life with a video for “All Choked Up,” the opening track to their fourth LP, Bad Behavior, which dropped back in October. It’s a bizarre, out-of-body experience evidently inspired by co-director Costa Upson spending time with the band on the road:
“The concept of the video came from touring with the band for the better part of a year,” Upson explains, “and witnessing first-hand how they dealt with the constant, surreal gauntlet of encounters on the road: keep moving forward and don’t look back.” If there’s any truth to this video, Ryan Lindsey and his band are keeping their cool under the weirdest of encounters.
Bad Behavior is out now via Park the Van Records. You can catch the band on tour with Methyl Ethel and The Growlers this summer, and again in October, at the dates below.
