Tyler, the Creator is feeling sweet. The notorious Los Angeles rapper has revealed plans for an ice cream collaboration with Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. The unlikely bedfellows have linked up to create a minty-fresh flavor dubbed “Snowflake.”
“As much as I love white chocolate chip cookies, I can never get over the fact that someone made the universal rule that they always have to come with those useless macadamia nuts,” Tyler explains on the Jeni’s website. “For as long as I can remember, mint ice cream seemed to always come with every chocolate chip except white. I finally got the two away from their clingy friends and set up a playdate for my mouth.”
Slandering macadamia nuts and standing up for white chocolate. Don’t ever let it be said that Tyler doesn’t keep it edgy.
The rapper’s ice cream will debut on July 6 at the GOLF store in Los Angeles and on the Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams website at 10 a.m. PST sharp. The flavor goes nationwide at all of Jeni’s locations beginning July 8. Bon appétit!
