At Universal’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the Butterbeer is infamously and disappointingly non-alcoholic (to be fair, it’s not alcoholic in the books, either). Take heart, though, booze-hounds: a new Harry Potter–themed pop-up bar is coming to Los Angeles.

The Wizard’s Cauldron promises to school you in not only magic, but mixology, mimicking one of Snape’s not-at-all-traumatizing potions classes at Hogwarts. As described by the bar’s site, you can reserve a ninety-minute experience in which you’ll “don your robe and sip mead as you experiment in the ancient art of potion making. Concoct devilish brews for good (or evil), all under the watchful eye of our wise potions master.”

It’s unclear who this potions master will be, since the late, great Alan Rickman is no longer with us.

No news on price of admission yet—though most likely it won’t be cheap—and it seems you only get to brew two potions during your experience; but there will be additional drinks and food up for grabs at the bar. It’s probably no Three Broomsticks—and it’s probably even less like seedy dive bar the Hog’s Head—but in our magicless world, we take what we can get.

As of now, there’s a waiting list you can get on to be notified when a spot becomes available. Sign up here
