In a video for their first released track off the upcoming September record Hey, I’m Just Like You, Tegan and Sara go old school. The song’s chorus (“I’ll run run run run run away / but I’ll be back someday”) speaks to the theme of their ninth studio album, which returns to songs the twins first recorded on cassette tapes they unearthed from their teen years in the ’90s.
The video plays up the nostalgia vibe, with the sisters talking on phones with cords, lounging on vinyl couches, and even listening to Walkmans. Watch it below.
