Sleigh Bells is back, and they’ve brought a pretty pissed-off Blake Lively with them. The band has recorded a menacing new version of the traditional folk tune “Where Did You Sleep Last Night?,” and the minimal, synth-heavy version provides the soundtrack to the trailer for The Rhythm Section, a new big-screen thriller starring Blake Lively. Many will know the song from Nirvana’s famous take found on their Unplugged release.
“The Nirvana + Lead Belly versions are total classics so this was terrifying but we went for it,” the group shared on Twitter. “Movie looks incredible.” See the tweet and trailer below.
