The 2019 Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in Golden Gate Park was a hot one. San Francisco temperatures were steep for October, and Joan Osborne suffered from heat stroke; she had to be helped off the stage by her bandmates during her set, though she has since fully recovered.
This year’s three-day outdoor music event also saw performances from Yola, Robert Plant, New Pornographers, Kurt Vile, Hiss Golden Messenger, Fantastic Negrito, Beth Orton, Adia Victoria, and Emmylou Harris, the festival’s perennial closing act. Check out our gallery below.
