In case you missed it over the weekend, a new verified Twitter account @GhettoSage has materialized, giving us little more than a date to look forward to (10/17) and the promise of a forthcoming “classic.” What we do know, based on the pics they’ve shared and the three accounts they follow, is that the handle belongs to Chicago rappers Smino, Noname, and Saba—three names we’ve seen a whole lot of these past two years.
Along with the photoshoot and implication of big news dropping this Thursday, the trio’s third tweet cheekily ponders whether they should drop a new song. Seems at least seven thousand people think they should.
