Los Angeles native WENS—a.k.a. the twenty-year-old singer/songwriter whose name is a play off Wednesday Addams—is adding new colors to the pop palette with her sad jams.

“My inner monologue isn’t necessarily the kindest to me,” WENS admitted in a press release—but on her forthcoming EP Lemoncholy from Warner Records, she is trying to rewrite her own narrative.

“Rich and Famous” is the second song off the EP (following lead single “Cinderella”), and in the visual out today, WENS wanders LA, wraps herself in aluminum foil like a bootleg Tin Man, and douses herself in glitter. “Would you rather be rich and famous or fit into the crowd, be nameless / do you wanna sell your soul to the devil / to go up one notch, one level?” she asks you jauntily.
