No matter how many hundreds crop up, we can always use another music festival. This brand new Los Angeles–based event was dreamt up by events producer Jason Felts and the Virgin Group’s Sir Richard Branson, and will be headlined by none other than Lizzo and A$AP Rocky. Not a bad start.
More good news: the lineup is 60 percent female. This year’s slew of Virgin Fest artists include Banks, Japanese Breakfast, Clairo, Sasami, Vagabon, Major Lazer, Ellie Goulding, Anderson .Paak, Kali Uchis, Jorja Smith, Dorian Electra, Empress Of, Jay Som, and Miya Folick.
The fest is sustainability friendly too, putting a ban on single-use plastics on festival grounds.
