A “Mean Girls” Pop-Up Restaurant Is Coming to LA

Sorry, Regina George: FETCH is, actually, happening.

If you’ve got any sense of refined culture, you’re a fan of the 2004 feature film Mean Girls. And if you’ve got any sense of fun, you’ll trek over to Santa Monica this spring to visit FETCH, a themed pop-up restaurant inspired by the movie’s iconic brand of scheming teens and snotty one-liners.

From April 18 to May 31, you can have your muffin buttered (or not) at the restaurant, where every ticket reserves you ninety minutes to eat courses of your choosing and take cute pics for Instagram. Don’t forget to wear pink, or you won’t even be allowed in the door (OK, that’s probably not true).

Appetizers include Whatever Cheese Fries, Just Stab Caesar Salad, and Buttered Bacon Muffin Bites; entrées are the All-Carb Diet Vodka Pasta, a Gretchen’s Weiner Dog, some Pusher Pepperoni Pizza, or the Just Stab Caesar Chicken Salad in a larger form; and for dessert selections, choose between Why Are You White Chocolate Mousse, a Toaster Strudel Strawberry Shortcake Sundae, or the Kalteen Bar Hot Fudge Sundae.

If you are over twenty-one or accompanied by a cool mom (I’d raaather you do it in the house), there are also some cocktails on offer (the Too Gay to Function Fishbowl and the Spiked Glen Coco).

After soaking up the sun in Santa Monica, FETCH is headed to New York City. Here in LA, it runs from April 18 to May 31 at 1705 Ocean Ave in Santa Monica, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Tickets are $45 and on sale now.
