Roll over, Genesis and tell My Chemical Romance the news—we have a new contestant in the 2020 reunion sweepstakes, and it’s not a band. Legendary sketch comedy show The Kids in the Hall is set to reunite Scott Thompson, Dave Foley, Kevin McDonald, Bruce McCulloch, and Mark McKinney for a new season.

The show, which launched in 1989 and ran through 1995, returns as the first Canadian Amazon Original Series, and will be executive produced by Saturday Night Live impresario Lorne Michaels. “Even after thirty years, The Kids in the Hall has retained its brilliance and originality,” Michaels told Deadline. “We are happy to be bringing back all of the original ‘Kids’ for the new series.”

“We’ve been investing in Canada for several years and are excited to add to that momentum by making The Kids in the Hall the first Canadian Amazon Original series,” added James Farrell, Vice President of International Originals for Amazon Studios. “The Kids in the Hall is an iconic show with a deep-rooted fan base.”

Fans of the original will be happy to know the cast is planning on reviving some of the Hall‘s most popular recurring characters, such as Head Crusher and Chicken Lady.
