This week, Tennessee was devastated by a pair of tornados that left twenty-five people dead and countless homes and businesses destroyed. Nashville was among the cities affected, with several notable cultural sites decimated, including the music venue Basement East.
On Monday, Nashville’s Marathon Music Works will host a benefit to help restore the musically significant capital to its former glory, with a star-studded lineup of performers. Ashley McBryde, Brandi Carlile, Brothers Osborne, Dan Auerbach, Jason Isbell, Margo Price, Sheryl Crow, Soccer Mommy, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Yola will all be performing at To Nashville, with Love, which will help to raise funds for families who lost their homes in the disaster, as well as benefit mental health organizations.
“Amanda and I are proud to call Nashville our home, and we’re proud of the Nashville community’s ability to come together in a time of crisis,” Jason Isbell said in a press statement this morning. “We’re lucky that our home and our loved ones are safe, but we know that isn’t the case for many Nashvillians. I’m happy to do what I can to help the city recover.”
Tickets for the event are on sale now, and are going for $75. You can purchase those—or make a donation—at the event’s website. Full line-up can be found below.
