This spring, we will finally be able to jump back into the creative minds of 30 Rock creators Tina Fey and Robert Carlock with their brand-new series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. The quirky Netflix show will follow the story of Kimmy Schmidt—a woman who has just been rescued from a cult’s underground doomsday bunker—and her journey to understand the world and find herself while living in New York City.
From the comedy’s first trailer, we’re promised zany antics, jokes about the craziness of present day a la Blast from the Past, and excellent performances by the bubbly Ellie Kemper (The Office, Bridesmaids) along with 30 Rock alums Jane Krakowski and Tituss Burgess.
All episodes of the first season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will be available starting at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, March 6. Take your time and savor them, just be sure you’re done by that next Monday morning to chat about it at work…
