Liam Gallagher‘s desire to reunite his former band, Oasis, has not exactly been a secret. One of the most contentious family feuds in the history of rock, that between Liam and his brother Noel, has kept those dreams at bay. With the current rise of the pandemic COVID-19, however, Liam thinks he might finally have his angle to get the ol’ band back together.

The singer has called out not just his brother and Oasis, but all bands that refuse to reunite over bad blood between members, urging them to do the right thing.

“Listen seriously a lot of people think I’m a cunt and I am a good looking cunt but once this is put to bed we need to get oasis back for a 1 of gig rite for charity,” Liam shared on Twitter. “C’mon Noel we can then go back to our amazing solo careers c’mon you know.”

Liam also used the opportunity to call out other bands (a.k.a. “miserable fucking cunts”) who feel they are “too cool for school” to similarly let bygones be bygones, including The Smiths and The Jam. Whether or not Gallagher’s full-court press is the final shove brother Noel needs to get back on board remains to be seen. Oasis fans cross their fingers and wait.
