Father John Misty’s last album was 2018’s God’s Favorite Customer, and he’s been laying pretty low since then. But now the songwriter has come out of hibernation with a new live experience, Off-Key in Hamburg.

All proceeds from the record will be donated to the Recording Academy’s MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund to provide aid to areas in the music industry impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Hamburg was recorded live at the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie in August, with frontman Josh Tillman and his seven-piece band accompanied by the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt orchestra. The twenty tracks include a mixture from all four FJM albums (Fear Fun, I Love You, Honeybear, Pure Comedy, and God’s Favorite Customer).

You can purchase the live record now via Bandcamp and listen to “Holy Shit” below.
