Stream the New Coachella Doc “20 Years in the Desert”

The film will be streaming for free on the festival’s YouTube channel at noon PST.

Well, it’s finally Coachella Weekend One, and as the fest had anticipated last month, we’re still social distancing. Rather than letting the weekend go by without celebrating, though, the SoCal event will be premiering their new documentary film Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert via their YouTube channel this afternoon for free—launching the stream exactly at noon, the moment the festival would have officially opened.

The YouTube Original doc will take a look at Coachella’s evolution over the past two decades, offering exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, and performances dating back to 1999, promising one-on-ones with the likes of Kanye West, Daft Punk, LCD Soundsystem, Rage Against the Machine, Beck, Radiohead, Billie Eilish, and more.

Watch the doc once it’s live below, and read more about the project here.
