WATCH: Jehnny Beth Shares New Track “Innocence” with Live Video

The third single from To Love Is to Live arrives with the news of a new June 12 release date.

Like many other artists releasing new music right now, Savages vocalist Jehnny Beth will be rescheduling the street date for her anticipated solo debut To Live Is to Live for June 12—about a month later than we’d previously expected it—due to unforeseen complications arising from the COVID-19 pandemic. The silver lining? JB’s sharing another new single from TLITL today, along with a video of her performing the track with a full band.

While we wait until we’re able to experience the real deal, the visceral clip, filmed last month at the BBC 6 Music Festival, introduces the Jehnny Beth live experience as an intense event with an industrial aesthetic. Meanwhile, the new track “Innocence” incorporates some unsettling vocal distortion and an infectious chorus about the plight of living in the city. Watch the clip below, and anticipate the full release later this year.
