You can’t keep a strong woman down. Revered songwriter Marianne Faithfull has reported from London that she’s recovering from coronavirus at home after spending more than three weeks hospitalized.

“We are really happy to say that Marianne has been discharged from hospital today, 22 days after being admitted suffering from the symptoms of Covid-19. She will continue to recuperate in London,” a rep for the singer shared on social media today.

“Marianne thanks you all for your kind messages of concern which have meant a great deal through what is a such a difficult time for so many,” the rep shared in a second post regarding the singer’s health, as she also developed a case of pneumonia while in the hospital. “She is also very grateful to all the NHS staff who cared for her at the hospital and, without doubt, saved her life.”

Among the many fans sending Faithfull well wishes on her recovery are J.K. Rowling, Garbage, and Gary Kemp of Spandau Ballet.
