It’s been a long time coming, but Alain and Dave Macklovitch are finally releasing music together. It seems implausible that it hasn’t happened yet, considering their musical compatibility—Dave as one half of electro-funk duo Chromeo and Alain as the founder of electronic label Fool’s Gold Records and a faction of the duo Duck Sauce.

The pair have shared their first track together under the apt moniker The Brothers Macklovitch, enlisting R&B vocalist Leven Kali on “Give Love to Get Some.” It’s the A-side to a planned two-track EP which will also feature a handful of remixes, and you can catch these songs live (or as live as music gets for the time being) when the bros take to Instagram Saturday night at 5 p.m. PT to officially debut them.

Hear the first single below, and stream their Saturday evening set on #BeApp.

Both A-Trak and Chromeo will also be appearing at the virtual Digital Mirage 2.0 festival June 5-7, alongside Boys Noize, Hot Chip, TOKiMONSTA, and many more. All proceeds raised during the festival benefit Plus 1’s Fund for COVID-19 relief.
