Black Sabbath is official supporting Black Lives Matter. The rock and roll legends are now offering a “Black Lives Matter” t-shirt styled in the fashion of the band’s classic 1971 Masters of Reality album cover. All proceeds from sales of the shirt will be sent to BLM.
The shirt first hit public consciousness a little more than a week ago when Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello posed in the shirt alongside his activist mother, Mary Morello. The post caught the attention of Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler, who shared the post on his own Twitter feed. “Nice shirt and even nicer sentiment,” Butler shared, adding the hashtag #MaryRocks for Morello’s mom.
Sabbath is selling the t-shirts on the group’s official online store for $25.
