It’s a bit of a testament to the willpower of the nearly thirty-year-old Chicago festival that Lollapalooza will go on as planned despite a global pandemic mostly making high-attendance events unkosher (let alone potentially deadly). Well, not exactly as planned, but the fest kicked off last night on its scheduled date, albeit from YouTube rather than Grant Park.

Among the highlights listed on the announcement graphic that dropped at the beginning of the week are re-broadcast sets from Arcade Fire, OutKast, Alabama Shakes, Tyler, the Creator, Run the Jewels, A$AP Rocky, LCD Soundsystem, and Portugal. The Man, as well as new live performances from H.E.R., Kali Uchis, Vic Mensa, mxmtoon, Princess Nokia, and Pink Sweat$. The event will also feature appearances from fest founder Perry Farrell (who reunited his band Porno for Pyros for a Thursday set) and Chicago personalities including Common, Michelle Obama, and the Bulls’ Zach LaVine.

To keep up with the weekend’s festivities, you can stream the fest live and check the schedules below, and check here for videos you may have missed.
