Deftones are back. The metallic rock legends have announced their highly anticipated ninth studio album Ohms, out September 25 via Warner Records. The title track is out today alongside an intense, apocalyptic music video.

Ohms follows 2016’s Gore. The announcement for this new record was—of course—executed cryptically, when the band tweeted out coordinates that led to a billboard in Los Angeles, with the gorgeous, creepy album art displayed on it. The cover was actually designed by the same artist who made the iconic White Pony cover, Frank Maddocks.

Working with their usual producer and engineer Terry Date, Deftones’ new material is an expansion on their dirty, unrelenting mix of metal, alternative, and rock. “Ohms” is caustic and sinister, serving as the tenth, and final, track on the record. Watch the video for the song below, and pre-order Ohms here.
