Knox Fortune has announced his sophomore album Stock Child Wonder and released the lead single “Shirtless.” Though he left his home city for New York, the LP features some of Chicago’s best indie acts including Lala Lala, Will Miller of Whitney, Lane Beckstrom of Resavoir, Colin Croom and Jack Dolan of Twin Peaks, Macie Stewart of Ohmme, and more.

Today marks the third anniversary of his debut record Paradise. His resume includes production work on several Chance the Rapper releases, and that talent shines through in his music even if he considers himself an indie pop artist. “Shirtless” still has some rap elements lingering, but it lives in an indie world much like Alex G or Porches’s music.

Stock Child Wonder is out October 30 via Nice Work. Listen to “Shirtless” below.
