Pærish have a lot of great influences, including (but not limited to) ’90s pop punk, Robin Williams, and Wes Anderson. It’s this weird combination that led the Parisian four-piece to making some distinct, rich rock tunes alongside the Will Yip. Reminiscent of Yip’s earlier, cult-followed works like Citizen’s Youth or Pity Sex’s White Hot Moon, Pærish’s songs are helping emo live on.

“The second I heard Pærish, I knew it was going to be a home run if we worked together,” Yip says. “Getting to collaborate with them was an incredible experience. Their passion in their craft was infectious. They deserve to be huge. Honest, real, but massive songs.”

Their chemistry together is evident, especially on the new single we’re premiering today, “Archives,” which follows August’s nu metal–tinged “Fixed It All.” Listen to the immersive track below.
