Next Friday, Yola will appear alongside the likes of Laurie Anderson, Brandi Carlile, Chris Isaak, Jason Isbell & Amanda Shires, and Cyndi Lauper for PBS’s Grammy Salute to Music Legends 2020. Ahead of the performance, though, the country artist is revealing that she’s teamed up with a handful of these musicians for a new single, “Hold On.”

With Isbell on guitar and backing vocals from Carlile and Highwoman bandmate Natalie Hemby—as well as piano contributions from Sheryl Crow—the star-studded, soulful tune was recorded during a session for the recent Highwomen LP. A portion of the song’s proceeds will benefit MusicCares and National Bailout Collective.
