Last month, we unveiled FLOOD 11: The Action Issue, which featured artistic contributions from Shepard Fairey throughout the issue, including three original covers designed by the visual artist. With the issue focusing on activism during a crucial moment in American politics, Fairey’s familiar designs were the perfect complement to original poetry from Patti Smith and testimonies on activism from the likes of Michael Stipe and Cat Power.

Today we’re unveiling a 24 x 24 print of one of the issue’s three covers, numbered and signed by Fairey himself. You can either order the poster by itself or as a bundle, which includes three issues of FLOOD 11 (one with each cover), and all proceeds directly benefit NIVA’s emergency relief fund. Visit our shop for more info and to purchase.

Additionally, we caught up with Shepard for a brief interview about the role of activism and social commentary in his public art, and how music influences that work—watch that clip below.
