You may be familiar with the music of Saunder Jurriaans through his soundtrack work for film and TV—most notably his scores for Netflix’s Ozark and The OA. But the LA-based songwriter is also fresh off the release of his debut solo record, Beasts, which he unveiled back in September via Decca Records.

To raise awareness of this feat, Jurriaans hopped into the pond in his backyard in LA to perform a “Neighborhoods” set composed of two Beasts tracks, “Easy Now” and “A Different Shade of the Same.” Stripped down to just an acoustic guitar, the former song in particular sounds a little Cat Stevens-y in lieu of the more baroque vocal recordings heard on his record. Watch him play the tracks—and power through fish nibbling on his feet—below.
