With his long-in-the-works collaborative album Random Shit From the Internet Era finally in the rearview, Sam I has been reconnecting with many of those who’ve made his dream project a reality—from a single featuring CeeLo that was over a decade in the making, to a track that reconnected him with his N.A.S.A. partner. The latest of these artists Sam caught up with over video chat was English songwriter Bipolar Sunshine, who lent his vocals to the Random Shit track “Wishin’.”

In their brief chat, the pair discussed their preferences for full albums over individual singles (with Bipolar Sunshine citing Cher as his current go-to artist) before diving into the question of who their dream collaborators would be. When they both agree on Morrissey as a list-topper, Sam shares that he actually reached out to the former Smiths frontman about working on his album, only to receive an incredibly Morrissey-like response. Watch it below.
