Despite the fact that Nile Rodgers has consistently been writing/producing/glamorizing for the last four decades, it’s been a while for his legendary disco/funk band Chic, who haven’t released a new LP since Chic-Ism in 1992.

All that’s about to change, however, as Rodgers announced this week that the group has a new album due sometime in June via Warner Bros. Records and Land of The Good Groove, an imprint run by Rodgers and music executive Michael Ostin.

Of the powerhouse deal, Rodgers had this incredible statement to make: “My relationship with Warner and Michael formerly started with Like A Virgin. The album is Double-Diamond, just like our friendship is.” (*Friendship mic drop*)

No further album details have been released, but it is confirmed that the first single will be unleashed on March 20.

Go on with your bad self, you Strat-playing, funky madman.
