In support of the of the recently minted Giving Tuesday—the “global generosity movement” scheduled for the Tuesday after Thanksgiving launched in 2012—we’re announcing a new line of limited-time merch in our online store to support Stacey Abrams’ Fair Fight organization and the self-explanatory, LA-based wildlife charity Stop Poaching Now.
FLOOD has partnered with LA artists Kii Arens and Seonna Hong for collaborations on these merch designs, with Arens sharing a special multi-colored full-print t-shirt and Hong creating a series of masks sold individually, or as a set along with a t-shirt.
“Art has always been my way of life,” Arens explains. “Life is the keyword for all living beings on this Earth. The power of art to influence and inspire, melting hearts and touching souls. Animals are a huge part of our lives and ecosystem, and the poaching of rare wildlife escalates the extinction of so many already endangered beauties—tigers, lions, pangolins, elephants, rhinos—the ones we usually only see in zoos. We can help by supporting Stop Poaching Now and their programs for school global education, providing employment to empower trained female ranger teams, animal translocation, and many more to help these animals survive.”
