We’re well aware that Victoria Monét is an Olympic gymnast of songwriting, bending words masterfully and executing them elegantly. If you’re still somehow not convinced after last year’s Jaguar, she’s provided more evidence of her skills with the latest single “F.U.C.K.” As expected, the title has a double meaning, which Monet sings during the chorus: “I want to be a friend you can keep.” Yesterday, she dropped a stunning visual for the track, which takes us back to the wild west.

Monét ostensibly plays the villain, an outlaw dubbed “The Jaguar” with a million dollar bounty on her head for “the crimes of shameless, bamboozling sensuality.” As she enters town, the local bounty hunter and bartender (played by singer Tanerélle) get involved to claim the reward for Monét’s capture. However the ending is not what you would expect. Monet puts a feminist twist on the traditional Western narrative.

We wouldn’t want to spoil the ending for you—see for yourself below.
