It’s been two years since the Brooklyn-based four-piece Crumb—who specialize in hazy, lethargic rock music—released their debut album Jinx. Just in time for awards season, they’ve returned with the new track “Trophy” that features their signature dazed, melancholic sound.

“Trophy,” and its accompanying Haoyan of America–directed video, eases us in only to throw us right down an unexpected rabbit hole. Some of Lila Ramani’s vocals get lost in her eased delivery, but ostensibly comforting words like “Take your time / Cause it’s all over” make it visibly through the fog. Toward the song’s end, Ramani gets lost in distortion and then chaotically start to repeat.

In the song’s visual, the band members are split between an award ceremony and a bleak racetrack. Not all members seem to make it out unscathed. Oh, yeah then there’s some talking trophies. They’re very creepy and only get creepier as the video goes on. Check it out below.
