Last fall Big Thief‘s Adrianne Lenker released another excellent solo album—well, two actually: songs and instrumentals—that followed 2018’s abysskiss. Plainly titled, both albums continued to showcase Lenker’s visceral lyricism and warm production. Although several months have passed since the album’s release, she reminded us of the album’s poignant intimacy with her latest performance of “Dragon Eyes” on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Cushioned between two white windowsills, Lenker plays with only a mic in front of her and an acoustic guitar in her hands. Actually, it seems she’s strumming with a paintbrush. It’s a serene song that Lenker has mastered with the utmost repose. Watch it below.
