Episode 3: Easter Sunrise at the Hollywood Bowl

This Sunday, April 4, the LA Philharmonic and the Hollywood Bowl will stream their third episode of this season of their SOUND/STAGE series for a special Easter edition. The Easter Sunrise live stream will take a look back at the Bowl’s first-ever performance a hundred years ago with all kinds of archival footage, as well as present-day performances from soprano Nadine Sierra and gospel duo Mary Mary, who will sing the hymn performed on the same stage a century earlier, “All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name.”

Additionally, as always, the episode will feature conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the LA Phil. For more info on the stream, check out LA Phil’s website, and watch the teaser below.
