St. Vincent‘s Annie Clark is gearing up for her forthcoming album Daddy’s Home, the follow-up to 2017’s MASSEDUCTION. She’s already released the first two singles that nod to a glamorously grimy New York state of mind. This past weekend on Saturday Night Live, she performed both “Pay Your Way in Pain” and “The Melting of the Sun” with a four-piece band and three fabulous back-up singers.

Who are these glorious ladies draped in plum jumpsuits? Their names are Sy Smith, Neka, and Nayanna Holley. Alongside Clark, whether in a key lime green pantsuit or a pink and silver sequined slip dress, the group of gals had mesmerizing chemistry.
