Mondays are slow, man. Everyone is recuperating from the weekend and an exhaustive Friday release day. Just when I thought there was nothing blog-worthy, a track from the elusive, prolific producer and songwriter Dean Blunt has surfaced featuring A$AP Rocky. The two have worked together a bit in the past, including last year’s “19,” from Blunt’s album Zushi and on 2018’s Soul on Fire for “Chancer.” Blunt was also credited on Rocky’s 2018 album Testing, including “Gunz N Butter” featuring Juicy J, and the Frank Ocean collab “Purity.”

Music discovery platforms Reddit and NTS have pointed out the new upload of the track called “Stoozy.” The Blunt-produced song is upheld by trudging percussion and bluesy guitar strums. Rocky comes in, his tone robust with bravado, “Sell your soul / That’s the price of fame.” Melancholic background coos materialize at one point. It’s a haunting listen.

Listen to the track below…and, just in case it might vanish at some point, there’s also a link to download “Stoozy” in the video’s bio.
