The latest single from Brooklyn’s Sedona is a synth-filled love affair of Stevie Nicks’ mysticism and Sting’s prodding romanticism. The five-piece group is led by Sedona with Merilyn Chang (keys), Claire Gilb (guitar), Margaux Bouchegnies (bass), and Tia Cestaro (drums). Following their debut EP Rearview Angel, which was released last October, “Missing in Paradise” is the group’s strongest track yet.

The song gets at the unknowingness of desire, trying to make sense of the heart wanting what it wants. Over a strutting guitar reminiscent of The Police, and tinny guitar strums that shine like fool’s gold, Sedona make a soundtrack for a pensive reflection scene. It’s glittery with the perfect amount of camp. Listen to it below.
