Billie Eilish’s debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? was massive. She’s undeniably one of the biggest stars in the music world, and she hasn’t even reached her twenties yet. As the first person born in the 21st century to have a No. 1 album, there are even alerts for when she changes her hair (she’s newly platinum blonde). And with new hair, apparently, comes a new album.
We haven’t even gotten a new single since last year’s “Therefore I Am,” but Eilish announced today her sophomore album Happier Than Ever is coming June 18. The follow-up to the 2019 debut will feature “Therefore I Am” and “my future.” It will also feature tracks titled “Everybody Dies,” “NDA,” “Oxytocin.” Seemingly, Happier Than Ever looks to be an interesting, varied ride.
In an Instagram post, she wrote, “this is my favorite thing i’ve ever created and i am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it. i can’t even tell you. i’ve never felt so much love for a project than i do for this one. hope you feel what i feel.”
