With the amount of cultural capital that Bob Dylan carries, one would think that he already has a museum. He doesn’t—but not to fret, Robert Zimmerman will soon have his own three-story building dedicated to his music, personal history, and cultural impact. The Bob Dylan Center will be located in Tusla, OK and showcase over 100,000 special artifacts from the iconic figure.
The building will include “handwritten lyric manuscripts to some of the world’s most treasured songs, previously unreleased recordings, never-before-seen film performances, rare and unseen photographs, visual art, and other priceless items spanning Bob Dylan’s unparalleled seven decades as one of the world’s most important cultural figures,” reads their website.
The center’s current opening date is May 10, 2022. For more information check out their site here.
